Malai Sweet Corn Gravy
Sweet Corn Gravy, this is a simple indian curry recipe prepared with sweet corn kernels in spicy and creamy sauce. The taste of the sweet corn curry recipe is on a mild sweet in taste and is ideal for less spice eaters. It tastes great when served with tandoori roti, or chapati but can also be served with jeera rice too.
Ingredients:
2 tbsp edible oil
200 gm Sweet corn(boiled/steamed)
1 cup fresh cream
1 big chopped onions
2 green chillies
1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
2 tbsp kasuri methi powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg/jaiphal powder
1 tsp tikhalal red chilli powder(increase amount if u need spicy)
1 tsp kashmiri red chilli powder
1/4 tsp haldi
Salt as per taste
Recipe:
1. Take a kadai, put 2 tbsp of oil.Once it is heated, add the chopped onions, green chillies. Saute well till onions turn brown.
2. Then to this add ginger-garlic paste.Saute again.
3. First add 1 tbsp of kasuri methi powder.
4. Then add nutmeg powder, haldi, both type of red chilli powder, garam masala, sugar.Mix well.
5. Check the taste of the mixture and add salt as per taste.
6. Saute all the items together for 2-3 mins.
7. Add the boiled sweet corn to the same mixture and mix well.
8. Once boiled add the fresh cream to the mixture. Also add the remaining kasuri methi powder.
9. Mix it well so the cream gets blended well in the paste.
10. Enjoy it with garam garam roti/phulkas or jeera rice.
