Strawberry CheeseCake
Cheesecake is a sweet desert consisting of one or more layers. The main and the thickest layer consists of a mixture of soft fresh cream cheese, vanilla and sugar. CheeseCake can be prepared in many flavours such as strawberry, lime, chocolate and coffee.
Ingredients:
For crust:
1 pack oreo vanilla biscuit
4-5 tbsp melted butter
For cheese cake:
400 gm cream cheese
1 cup or 200 ml fresh cream/whipping cream
1 cup or 200 gms crushed sugar
1/2 tsp of lime juice
1 tsp lime zest
5 ml vanilla essence
20 gm of veg gelatin
60 ml of cold milk
Mapro Strawberry crush for flavour
couple of fresh strawberry for decoration
Recipe:
For Base:
1. Crush one pack of oreo vanilla biscuit, crush in grinder.
2. Then add 4-5 tbsp of melted butter and blend again.
3. Use cake mould from which base can be separated.
4. Add parchment paper to the bottom.
5. Apply butter over it and then pour the biscuit mixture to it and press using hand or glass to form a firm base.
6. Keep this aside in freezer till you prepare the cake.
For ChesseCake:
1. Remove the chilled fresh cream/whipping cream in a steel bowl and keep it in a freezer for 10 mins.
2. Take fresh cream/whipping cream kept in fridge in a steel bowl.The cream should be chilled. In another bigger bowl add few ice cubes. Place the steel bowl over ice cubes.
3. Beat to smoothness and then add powdered/icing sugar to it and beat till it forms stiff whipped cream. Once it gets to required form keep it aside in fridge again.
4. In a small bowl add gelatin to cold milk. Mix it well for 5mins. Keep it aside.
5. Then take another bowl, add 400gm cream cheese. Beat it till smooth.
6. Then add lime juice, lime jest, vanilla essence. Add 1 tbsp mapro strawberry crush. Beat all into a mixture beautiful n smooth using electric blender.
7. Double boiler method: Boil 1 cup of water and remove it in a big bowl. Keep the above gelatin mix inside the hot water bowl. Stir the gelatin mix till it melts and form running consistency.
8. Add this gelatin paste to the above cream cheese and mix well. Beat it to form a smooth mixture.
9. Now to this cream cheese mixture add it whipped cream prepared earlier(removed from the fridge).Mix it with hand using cut n fold method.
10.Now pour this whole mixture to the biscuit crust.
11. Tap the mould to remove any air bubble.
12. For decorating, add small drops of strawberry crush over the mixture and use the toothpick for given a nice design.
13. Now cover it with cling foil and keep it in freezer for 8 to 12 hrs(overnight) to set.
14. Once set keep few fresh strawberry in middle of the cake.
Viola! cheese cake is ready!!
