Eggless Chocolate Cake

Ingredients for eggless chocolate cake: 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour (180 grams) ¼ cup cocoa powder  1 tsp Baking soda  ½ tsp Salt 1 cup sugar  1 cup milk or water 1/3 cup oil or 80 ml melted butter 1 tbsp Lemon juice (or apple cider vinegar) 1 tbsp Vanilla extract/essence Preparation for eggless chocolate cake: Preheat the oven to 170 C for at least 15 mins.  Grease a 8 or 9 inch round cake pan & drizzle some flour on it. or Line with a parchment paper. Set aside. Mix plain flour, cocoa,salt and baking soda. Sieve the mix at least twice to aerate the flour . Add sugar and mix it well. I use fine sugar. If you are using coarse one then you can also dissolve it in 1 cup water (called for the recipe) and pour it in the next step. Recipe for eggless chocolate cake: Take a cake mixture in a bowl.Make a well in the center. Pour water or  milk,oil or melted butter, vanilla and lemon juice or vinegar. Gently begin to mix well. Basundi

Ingredients: 500 ml full fat milk 1/2 cup of sugar(1/2 tin of condensed milk) a pinch of nutmeg/jaiphal powder 1/4 tsp of elachi/cardamom powder a pinch of saffron/kesar Recipe: Take a heavy bottom pan and pour the milk into the same. Keep the milk for boiling on medium flame. Soak the saffron in hot milk in a separate cup for later use. Boil the milk for 5-7 minutes, stirring the same continuously to avoid the burning of milk from bottom. Keep scraping the cream from the sides and add the same to the milk to give grainy effect to basundi. Add sugar/condensed milk to the boiling milk. keep stirring the mixture.  Continue to boil the mixture till u get a desired consistency. This will take about 8-10 mins. Basundi should be little thick with running consistency. If you want it to be more thicker u can continue to simmer the mixture for some more time. Add the saffron mixture, cardamom powder and nutmeg powder to milk mixture. Simmer for a minute more and switch off the
